Karataş Wind Farm
Çanakkale / Gelibolu
120 MW with 24 turbines in Gelibolu, Çanakkale; commissioning in Q1 2027.
Karataş wind farm consists of twenty-four 5 MW turbines along the Gallipoli Peninsula's ridge. Construction started in Q2 2025; foundations for 19 turbines are complete.
The project is financed by a 14-year loan from an international development bank and two local banks. Expected annual generation is 450 GWh.
