Çakmaktepe Wind Farm
Izmir / Karaburun
Our first wind farm: 54 MW with 18 turbines in Karaburun, Izmir, at a 40% capacity factor.
Commissioned in 2013, Çakmaktepe is the company's reference project and has the portfolio's highest capacity factor at 40%. The open, unobstructed terrain of the Karaburun peninsula provides steady wind.
In the repowering planned for 2027, the 18 turbines will be replaced by nine new-generation units.
