Çine Plateau Wind Farm
Aydın / Çine
60 MW with 15 turbines in Çine, Aydın; a high-altitude site in inland Aegean.
Çine Plateau wind farm was built in 2021 at 1,050 m altitude. Because of lower air density, large-rotor 4 MW turbines were selected.
A blade heating system counters icing in winter, keeping December to February generation losses to around 6%.
